Sadé Holness

Sadé Holness is the founder of Northern Education Consultants. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University in Canada. Over the years, she has helped hundreds of students navigate the Canadian education and immigration systems, with a focus on school admissions, study permit strategy, and long-term planning. In addition to her consulting work, she also works at Emond Publishing, supporting legal education access across colleges and universities in Canada.

Who is this program for?

This program is designed for individuals who want to study in Canada and better understand the school selection, funding, and study permit process before applying.

Should I take this program if I have absolutely no money to study in Canada?

This program is recommended for those who are able to cover their living costs for at least one year and primarily need assistance funding their tuition costs. Click here to see the Canadian study permit minimum proof of funds requirements for living costs.

Can I bring my family with me to Canada?

Your spouse and dependent children may be able to apply to accompany you to Canada while you study, but eligibility depends on your program. Spousal open work permits are limited to spouses of students enrolled in eligible programs, including Master’s programs that are at least 16 months long, doctoral programs, and certain professional programs. Dependent children under the age of 22 are eligible to receive a study permit.

Do I need to already have a school acceptance?

No. This program is intended to help you choose a suitable school and program strategically before moving forward with applications.

Does this program include immigration representation?

At the end of the program, participants have the option to book a one-on-one planning session with Sadé Holness and also, the option to retain her for assistance with the study permit application.

Will this program help me find scholarships or funding?

Yes. The program includes guidance on scholarships and study loan options available for international students looking to study in Canada. The opportunities that exist are for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Will I learn about pathways to permanent residence?

Yes. The program explains how studying in Canada can connect to long-term opportunities such as work permits and pathways to permanent residence. It also outlines strategies for choosing programs that may lead to opportunities to settle in Canada, if that is your goal.
